Good comments Watso. If only the ABC would make some effort to scrutinise these issues, like they do against Trump via Planet America, they might earn some credibility. Their total bias indicates they are simply a mouthpiece for the Anglo/American/Zio propaganda machine.
I happened to catch a bit of ABC News24 this morning to see how the weekend's events were covered. Seemed to be more of the same. As it went on I decided I had better write some notes but that was about an hour afterwards so it was from memory. I'll have to paraphrase when citing some examples since I don't think iView carries these shows. Pardon any errors in the spelling of names.
When talking about the missiles launched at Syria because Assad had crossed a red line, Michael Rowland, still smiling, suggested that maybe launching the missiles was also very close to a "thin red line," but that comment didn't get any traction of course. At least he sees the irony but he knows he has to fall in line with the ABC group think. Where's the detailed discussion on that from the ABC?
Then a full face closeup of Nicky Haley, which almost made me throw up. She made some illogical comment something along the lines that the Russians can deny facts at the UNSC but they can't deny the fact that we launched missiles at Syria. WTF?
There was a news item which read something like: Missiles were launched at Syria to send a message to Assad regarding the "suspected" chemical weapons attack. The word "suspected" was definitely used, so the statement was broadcast to the world that we bombed a country without proof, yet there is no comment from the ABC? They should be screaming at Haley.
There was another segment with a rather nice lady who offers regular commentary on world affairs. I don't remember all the details of the discussion but the bit that got my immediate attention was when she seemed to justify the missile strikes having seen the shocking images of those poor suffering children. No discussion on the authenticity of those images, or the White Helmets, which is getting a lot of coverage in alternative media.
There was something about the Russian sponsored propaganda machine going into overdrive over the weekend. Probably discussing some points I made above, which the ABC won't discuss LOL. I hope the ABC wasn't referring to me.
Then they wheeled out one of the big guns. Instead of having Peter Jennings from the Australian Institute for Strategic Studies (I like to call it the American Institute for Strategic Studies, Australian division) they had on this lady from the ANU who's from the department of Strategic Policy Studies or something like that. It was just the usual deep state narrative but it gives us an idea what the students are being subjected to. Get in early with the brainwashing.
That was enough for me so I turned it off.
All this within about one hour or so, and this goes on day after day.
