    Stockrocker,
the politics of it all are firmly on our side, both at the State and at the Federal level. It would take a lot more than a good Samaritan to change that.
Fraccing has been carried out in Australia for a long time now and there have been no problems.Transserve fracced Warro a few years back using the best US experts. This was onshore near Moora in WA.Gas was too tight though.
Of course the US has been fraccing forever and it is widely accepted despite all the misinformation caused by factually weak documentaries,....like the ABC is prone to do.
The UK has just approved fraccing over 40% of the entire UK.
As for your comment that we need to find out because the gas might not even flow,....well I agree we need to find out , but the gas has already flowed at Yulleroo and will in all likelihood flow at other locations. The size of the BCGA is so large that it wont be hard to test the sweet spots first where there is good porosity and probably no need to frac at those locations. It is possible that large volumes can be produced without fraccing , then introduce fraccing when more of the the reserves are contracted.

The benefits of such a massive onshore BCGA are simply too great to allow green politics , or ABC politics to get in the way.
