"The project could be one of the first funded by Prime Minister Tony Abbott's Direct Action plan to replace the carbon tax."
This bit may be of interest -
"He said the coal was mixed with water to make a slurry and then heated to produce a micronised refined fuel. It was then sprayed into an adapted diesel engine."
Sounds like the CHTD process that Dr Wibberley and Prof Robin Batterham both reported is the ideal fuel stock for DICE.
Perhaps Coldry pellets could be re-watered as opposed to dewatered back to a slurry and heated through either Exergen or Ignites reactors?
Now if DICE is to be commercial by 2018, same time as Exergen are planning on commercial production of CHTD/MRC, the Gov had better get a move on with ALDP.
On DICEnet it says Ignite are working on transport fuel and Exergen are working on DICE fuel for generation and export. Both transport fuels and generation fuel are talked about in above article. It all fits in nicely with what many here have been saying for past couple of years.
Cheers
