I also lost out with Metgasco. I dont blame the ABC in that case. It was a campaogn by "Lock the gate" and the "knitting nannas" who waged a long campaign against coal seam gas. The knitting Nannas set up outside the local rep, Thomas George's office daily for months and spent the time knitting while they handed out protest information. A successful protest for those anti coal seam gas but not a success for gas extraction state wide and certainly not a success for Metgasco shareholders or indeed for users of gas generally.
