I agree with you there Yellowcake - the ABC changed it's tactics many years ago to compete with the commercial news stations, failing to realise that commercial 'news' is just another form of entertainment.....
The national broadcaster though had quite a different role (I thought) even if its audience did only numbered a few thousand ..... obviously I was wrong....
