$11m profit for Hillgrove Resources

South Australian mining company Hillgrove Resources has recorded a net profit of just over $11 million for the 12 months to the end of January.

Its annual meeting has heard the start up of the Kanmantoo copper and gold mine 60 kilometres east of Adelaide remains its focus.

The positive outlook is also assisted by a successful investment in Eastern Star Gas in New South Wales.

Hillgrove also has exploration permits for two Indonesian regions which are strong copper and gold prospects.
