I have sent an e-mail to the company to see if they can give us a cost comparison with a coal fueled plant of similar capacity (50 MW).
also I asked what would be the cost for the max output dessalination plant attached to such wave farm.(not included in estimated 400 M)

Things to take note are : No ongoing cost for fuels of any kind( could run in the tens of millions a year ) no greenhouse effects.

I have being checking fro costs of other electricity plants and they do run in the hundreds of millions and even in the billions of dollars for say 600MW.
Check google for more info.

I don't think Carnegie is out of context in their estimated price. Obviously when more units/projects are to be built the price usually drops. I would expect this be the case for the CETO farms as well.
