It is interesting that you question the cost of something that could save a life. You obviously value money much higher than life. I wonder if it was your life whether you would have the same cold objectivity.
It is not only the life of the sick person that this treatment could save. It is also the lives of health workers who are putting their lives on the line to save lives. Something I am sure you never did, otherwise you would not be questioning the cost.
