The lawyers were the only winners, as usual, out of this typical ALPBC libel and the poor old taxpayer should not be forced to foot the ALPBC's legal fees. Someone made a good point earlier. To ensure this type of tripe does not occur again, and to ensure that ALPBC journos complete proper DD before expressing their opinions, any such future costs should be borne by reducing the ALPBC's budget accordingly.
