Do you think it might have something to do with Abbott spending the previous 3 years venting feigned apparent disgust and disbelief that a former PM might break an election "promise", and then proceeding to break about half a dozen of his own??.......lol
I guess you could call it karma.
Don't worry guys. Australia will again be a decent place once Abbott's gone. Political discourse will improve etc...Just going to take a bit of time for the "mistake that we needed to make" to be removed.
