How did Sky come into it Kingy? You're confusing me with someone else. In any case you're engaging in reductio ad absurdum, I don't think anything of the sort. What I DO think is that the ABC is not SKY, it's not 9, nor 10, nor 7, nor Fox, nor CNN. The ABC is a not-for-profit national broadcaster, it's not supposed to have agendas, it's not supposed to choose their angle then choose the story, then choose the bits of that story that push their angle.

All that corporate media tells you is what they want you to hear, regardless of whether it's politically driven or financially driven. If you believe what they tell you without checking for another source then you deserve to be kept in the dark. Unlike corporate media, the ABC doesn't have a profit motive. I own it, and they lie to me, consistently. There is no excuse.
