Anyone listen to ABC radio this morning at around 7.25am (Melbourne time). Confirming about what has been said previously on this site:
Rising food prices due to increase in bio fuels and change in consumption patterns in China and India
Concerns growing over food scarcity, high prices of agricultural products etc
Europe concerned over biofuel usage and ability to feed people (probably start of biofuel back lash)
Britian to give 1 billion in food aid
PS : I wonder if Merryl Lynch are buying up a few MAK shares for their new global Ag portflio? if not, probably a matter of when.
