I'm not sure if anyone was listening to 720 ABC Perth, this afternoon on "Drive"?

The presenter held a phone interview with George Jones.
The discussion was around today's announcement of him taking over as chairman of GBG and the situation with SDL.

Points of note from memory were:

* Travelling to Republic of Congo to escort the deceased home.

* Tremendous support from ALL families to bring the Mbalam project to completion out of respect to their husbands' final work.

* George, when asked about his health,"...Since the operation on my inner ear and the subsequent rehabilitation, I've never felt better over the last six years."

* He has had tremendous support and offers of assistance from colleagues within resource industry.
