I for one am sick of only the prefiltered news thats available on the ABC...thank goodness of the commercial stations or one would hold only a blinkered view of whats happening.
The ABC has lost for me it's importance...it's too dumbed down ...yep sell it, but keep paying for the hard lefts Q&A program because it couldn't stand on it's own two feet anyway.
MMmmm the abc was once relevant up to 15 years ago when growing up many smaller populations around me regionally could only receive the abc...nothing else was broadcast, I lived in a larger town and we had the abc and a channel nine.
Today this has changed the abc is now a lame duck of dubious social value given the much wider coverage available through all other channels...not to mention satellite tv for those out of range.
