Lappy, it was not a comment directed indvidually at you as I qualified it with 'comments like this'. Clearly I know little about your life other than what you have mentioned on this forum.

But to compare as you say "Murdoch & Co" salaries to essentially public service salaries is rediculous. Public service jobs are not to the same risk as private sector.

If the ABC doesn't turn a profit do people lose their jobs. No.

Yes there are from time to time redundancies in public office but no where to the extent of the private sector.

Risk vs reward would suggest private sector should be paid more.

Do you think Abbott as PM should be paid as much as any large corporation CEO????
