Window dressing ? I don't think so. Window dressing is when you want to make the current reporting period look good. But nothing is going to make the current reporting period look good.
In fact, once it is apparent that a reporting period is bad, there is often an incentive to maximise the lousyness. By so doing, the NEXT reporting period looks that much better.
