Just want to say well done to Richard and whoever that was with you in the interview. That sure isn't an easy thing to do.

Besides the dark and ominous music, my favourite part of the show was when the reporter slipped in this statement re Len:

"He says there should have been a UCG expert on the independent panel."

You'd think any self-respecting, unbiased reporter would run with that and then perhaps ask Len on camera, "So you mean to say that the government relied on a report that was produced by people who aren't experts in UCG?"

I wonder if comment was sought from Kate Jones' office.

By the way, I emailed Alex Klimenko (UQ UCG expert) a couple of weeks ago. He said he wasn't asked to be a part of the ISP, probably because he had been overseas for quite a while organizing a conference that the QLD government was participating in. Sounds like a nice chap. Said he wasn't privy to the ISP's deliberations and can't comment.
