The ABC is under pressure to stop being far left. The Liberals see little value in funding their opponent's propaganda.
The employees of the ABC are slanted to the Greens and ALP. They largely have free rein to do whatever they want with taxpayer funds.
This is why the left winged parties support the ABC. The activists presenting programs will push the ALP/Greens narrative.
The ABC needs politically diverse opinions if it wants to keep its current model.
That means they need to drop their Greens supporting staff and replace them with Liberals and one nation supporters.
Anything short of that means the ABC is not a public organization as it does not represent the public. If the ABC wants to be unrepresentative, it should be private.
It is sure sign the ABC is a bit worried when they keep adverting them selves on TV and telling us how lucky we are to have them and how inclusive they are ,when they are a paternalistic elite media organization pushing the left group think on the population who need to get with the program, instead of thinging for them selves the ABC tells the audience what to think.
