iron mike. I feel your pain and angst !

    catgut, couldn't agree more.

    Political correctness gone mad!

The taxpayer funded ALPBC is to be abhorred for its partisan support of the Greens, Labor and anything which is anathema to broader Australian values and mores. The levels to which the ALPBC has sunk is disgraceful to say the least.

To witness the obsequious statements from that bunch of girly boys on the AFL footy show was sad.. Sam Newman, for once was 100% correct.

If you can't stand the heat in the Kitchen, get out! Whilst I have never been a fan of booing, on a few occasions I have been caught in the mod of the time to boo NRL umpires (when I was a lot younger I might add).

To witness booing of the first order one had to experience the old days when the VFL, WA team would play SOO against the Vics. The WA side would goal to rapturous crowd elation. The Vics would goal to either silence or loud booing according to the parochial and provincial crowd leaders.

I could be labelled "racist", however, I consider myself to be proudly Australian and accepting of any culture. So much so that I have hosted in my own home people from China, Indonesia, Italy, Switzerland, Korea, Japan (and my father was interred in Changi), Belgium, France, Reunion, India and Vietnam. That comes with the caveat that either they are respectful visitors or are prepared to contribute to our overwhelmingly European society and our culture.

The majority of the indigenous habitants of Australia I would like to think are contributors and their children potentially and hopefully even more so through education.

However, like some other minority cultures within our society, there are either recalcitrant elements who have a specific purpose in divisiveness. Or are unwittingly or willingly out to bleat incessantly about their persecution in order to garner support for an increase in their social security allowances.

This country is far too soft overall and those that abuse the privilege of being beneficiaries of our generosity risk an enormous backlash from the vast majority of the population.

I have observed Adam Goodes as a good AFL player and was surprisingly anointed AOTY. It behoves him therefore to act with humility and act in a responsible, respectful and mature way to uphold the gratuitous government honour bestowed upon him rather than create divisiveness by his outrageous provocation .

    Ye reap what ye sow!
