All these politicians these days seem unable to just speak plainly and simply off the cuff.
Maybe they are scared of saying the wrong thing because the media hang off every word.
Maybe they are too used to just reading blurb prepared by someone else.
Or maybe they are just too thick.

I yearn for skilled orators like Keating and Costello who knew how to work a crowd and get a message across.
