I have just seen episode 3 and it's a beauty. I totally understand what your intimation is and i do agree with most of your thoughts. This is what got me interested in the Archy in that it isn't just a portrait. Some of the portraits have a name, and this could influence a judge. It's a can of worms this thing called 'art' and judging it is even more tricky. However we could rant and rave all day. I'll leave it to you to post your thoughts about episode 3 considering your main tenet. The first 3 shows as you'd expect have thrown up some supurb talent and what i do like is the lack of garbage that you hear from judges on these talent shows. This is what makes The Piano a bit different but where do the producers stop ? .....to be continued Dicky
