Crikey some here must have their noses out of joint after the
disgraceful claims yesterday that the ABC is hiding the truth.
Shameful political opportunism by those on the fringes of the
political spectrum.
The ABC correctly pointed out that it had been told by Police
that they have not confirmed the nationality of the suspected perpetrator.
As it turns out that suspect has been released by German police for lack
of evidence. They apparently picked him up based on a description but there is
insufficient evidence to identify him as the person in the truck.
Some media embellish the situation and jump to conclusions but the ABC did
the right thing and reported events from official sources. The ludicrous claims that our
ABC would deliberately try to hide the truth as claimed on a thread here is
shameful and clearly Un-Australian. The mentality of those that would arrive at such a conclusion is imo very suspect.
