Based on my own opinion only, countries in europe who currently have nuclear and are looking to abandon it ie Germany and Switzerland will be having to question their decision given the current global financial crisis which is looming. How will they be able to afford the huge infrastructure, research and development costs needed to move away from nuclear? These costs will be a huge burden on an allready stressed economy if World markets continue the way they are. I wouldn't be surprised to find these decisions reversed.
