I thought you were right, but just realised this statement says 10% of the US Power supply, not 10% of the nuclear supply...
So the US rely on nuclear for 20% of their power and half of that comes from the US/Russian Treaty.
The US has just over 100 reactors, so it should be equivalent to 50 reactors worth of fuel!!
And Japan is idling about 50 (I believe) so we should be back to the equivalent supply and demand ratio as pre-Fukushima.
Is that right?
