Here we go, my personal perspective only :)

If in fact the Megaton to megawatt does remove 24 million pounds@ 24 million pounds, the numbers look like this ....




( 10Lbs Uranium equates to 1Lb of Nuclear fuel )

2,400,000 Lbs Fuel = 1,088,929 Kg Fuel = 1,089t Fuel



A large 900-1100Mwe PWR or BWR will contain about 75 tonnes of uranium fuel, and will change roughly 25 tonnes every refueling outage which is about every two years.


Therefore 1,089t Fuel would equate to approx 14.5 x 75t Reactor Restarts, or 43 x 25t refuels.
