I just noticed that ABN Amro Morgans have released revised annual production estimates. I wonder if this was the result of my email to LAf management ;)

What is noticable if the substantial decrease in estimated production from the February report, which was never acheivable in the first instance and the reason why I emailed LAF. All production estimated production figures have been revised down but the icing on the cake is the drop in estimated gold production. What is also noticable is the substantially revised down figures for gold in 2008 and 2009.

Morgans February annual production estimate:-
Copper 4,970 tonnes
Zinc 6,670 tonnes
Gold 24,220 ozs
Silver 199,360 ozs

Morgans May annual production estimate:-
Copper 2,970 tonnes
Zinc 5940 tonnes
Gold 6950 ozs
Silver 162,060 ozs

I believe that even the May annual estimates are too high, but then again who am I to disagree with the experts. ;)

My annual production estimates for 2007 are:-
Copper 1529 tonnes
Zinc 4603 tonnes
Gold 3725 ozs
Silver 78,584 oz

Happy to be proved wrong though :)
