I have no problems with the directors rewarding themselves. Its been a twenty bagger for me (so far) so they can give themselves a decent reward.
They have done a brilliant job getting the operation up and going. In the early days they didnt get much out of the company. They may not care too much about mere shareholders, but hell Im making money hand over fist and much more to come. Thats the main thing.
