Growing up in Darwin and going to school at the start of the seventies was fun. Son of a wogboy immigrant and being housed in government housing commission block houses in Millner which was a 70% majority suburb populated by Aboriginals I got my taste of what rascism is all about. The solution is to grow a thick skin at a young age. Dont blame anyone else. ignore the shite thrown at you. And punch the sheet out of the aggressors to let them know you will not back down. Yep copped plenty of flogging as well. But gained respect in the process. I have not even reached high school dilema yet.

Anyway. Back then everyone worked. If you want to eat you have to work. Granted some extremely remote locations in the Territory there is no industry I accept that. By and large most Terriotrians WORKED back then.

What has happened to society today. We seem to financially reward those who have no inclination at all to work. infact there is no dis-incentive not to commit crime.

It is a MAD MAD WORLD
