Totally agree!
If community courts are introduced and adjudicated by elders who determine certain punishment is warranted on a case by case basis then it should be accepted!
I Sat in some community courts trialled in the NT a few years ago and it worked well!
It gave back some autonomy, control and dignity to the community!
If it means corporal punishment under the old traditional laws so be it!
