Now this is a very touchy subject so I’ll tread carefully here. I find it quite6 amazing when I watch various stories on the ABC, SBS and NITV that an awful lot of people who identify as being aboriginal are in appearance very white looking. Now I don’t mind if these people self identify or a 1/32 aboriginal but surely for the purposes of dishing out government money, land rights in the future and for the aboriginal peoples themselves there needs to be some test. And please don’t just quote back to current requirements as a know what they are. surely this is a serious question that deserves some answers? what do you guys think?
