Its a tough call you know when I was at uni I only ever saw 1 aboriginal student out of thousands. Partly due to the fact that aboriginal people choose a different lifestyle and are comfortable in the bush practicing traditional customs. We expect too much sometimes of the aboriginals to become part of our culture and do things the way other Australians do. Not enough Australians take on board aboriginal culture, and this is part of the problem, coastal dwelling on the fringe, neglecting the rural isolated interior and it's people. Maybe the real way forward is by being led by a group or new party, rather than one man/ prime minister, why not be governed by a group of prime ministerS representative of the WHOLE population rather than a bunch of mostly educated privaleged white men. Maybe if Edmund Barton and his crew had of used a bit of foresight in this way, certain sections of Australia would be less marginalized and disempowered!
