    True, this does nothing for the authentic aboriginal people themselves. Looking from afar, what it does is create a clear, and even hostile, division between yes and no camps. YES camp are the usual jab junkie mindset who never question the guvmint, NO camp are those who step back and analyze the situation for what it is. As far as I can see it's brought a feeling of disdain and contempt from formerly blase` aussies for the aboriginal cause/business itself, brought about by the spray-tan pale skin inner city "mob". If, god forbid, this yes thing gets through then that feeling of contempt and disdain will be hugely magnified, and why wouldn't it?. Cost of living crisis already has a fair whack of aussies on the bones of their ass, now being asked to throw MORE free $ at this lot for..............what exactly? The whole thing is an absolute farce.
    Australia has truly become an unlucky joke of a country.
