I am not sure what Ddzx wants. I know you can't bring back the people from the past, what about this?

What about giving the aborigines in missions a large chunk of land like Arnham Land. The land must also include a coastline. The government builds each family a house on a block of land. Houses will be built in small communities with vast distances between communities. We will give the aborigines the white man luxuries, otherwise it would be considered inhumane. We give them a life time supply of electricity and electrical appliances to be upgraded every two years. Give them fresh tap water and Payments on rates and water are to be wavered (i know, not much different to today)

Aboriginal people throughout Australia can have the choice to move to this area. If not, they must relinquish all welfare benefits, including subsidies, special loans or programs within the community. The government will only allocate funds to the "Indigenous area", none to the rest of the indigenous population.

The "Indigenous area" is to be a dry area. There will be no monetary system so it would be very difficult to purchase alcohol. There will not be a convenience store because of there being no monetary system. However, again, we will allow some white man luxuries and give every family a loaf of bread and a carton of milk every day.

The aboriginals will eat off the land. Although they will be governed by Australia, the elders will be mainly responsible for the "area". White man will not police this area, it will be up to the elders to manage this. Basic structures are to be built if the community wish to have an area for school. Again, the government will supply sporting equipment to play the "white man's sport".

Prior to going into the "area" any aboriginal with an addiction to alcohol will go into a government funded program to overcome their addiction. Medical facilities will be built but again, it will depend on the elders to manage health issues.

So, the indigenous receive their land. The white man is more than fair in giving the indigenous the white man luxuries. The indigenous will be left to govern themselves but but will no longer receive any "white man" benefits because there will be no monetary system.

Pretty sweet deal? Ultimately, it will save money for the government because people will move to these areas and forgo welfare payments. It will also allow the aborigines to take full ownership of their people. If you choose to live with the white man, you accept the white man's way and you get on with life.

It will be like the Quebec of Australia. Is it too fair or too unfair? Inhumane?
