Mus lim women have fought alongside men both in armies and resistance movements in various countries. Then you are also forgetting the mus lim countries who have had women leaders who were technically the head of the armed forces. How many woman leaders have western countries had compared to mus lim countries? The role woman play in a mus lim society is dictated more by ethnic background than by religion, too many people seem to confuse Arab traditions with religious traditions.
