its seems we have a crisis beginning in politics. rising in Qld, SA and now going federal.

some of us where alive an remember the terrible history of women having backyard abortions. another means talked about was using a knitting needle while sitting on the dunny.

women with a horrific range of infections right through to osteomyelitis from the ulcerated uterus.

and yes many other lesser horrific stories but these were real only back in the 60's.

do we want a return to illegal means of ending an perhaps life threatening pregnancy?

the speed with which this has gathered pace is quite disturbing. clearly theres an organisation which has an impatience that is suspicious.

surely it can only be a small minority that are so fervent in their desire for women to suffer.\

lastly, its a medical matter that only the woman and her trusted doctor can decide.

People should have the right to choose. I personally don't favour abortion other than for significant medical reasons.

Additionally while the baby is carried by the female the father should also have some choice in the matter as the baby is equally theirs
