Agreed. As our population ages and more taxpayers turn into pensioners, the government regardless of which side of politics they're on will have to take the necessary measures to balance the budget. Tax concessions for the middle class would appear to be among some of the easiest targets.

IMHO MMS isn't a bet about the election, it's a bet about whether middle class tax concessions will survive an environment of ongoing fiscal tightening. For me this is a one way bet.
