In my area Brisbane northern suburbs, there has been lots of development, ie sub division of larger blocks and units going up, the only thing we dont seem to get is any change to the roads, going to the coast on the weekend is out unless you want to sit in a carpark like highway coming home, same as going to work or coming home, there is a section of route 5 that can take me 20 minutes to go 3klm of an afternoon, i say cut immigration to 50k or less a year..
