Don't know when FDLOA were originally issued - but if you bought them today you will never see a CGT discount on them and will only ever see this 12 months to the date after you convert them.
Again this was my experience with my accountant on some AVM options I purchased - but as always DYOR. I am no accountant but I like to question them and KTBH :)
