From Andrew HastieIn the corridors of Parliament, I meet two kinds of people.
Those with warm hearts, full of gratitude for all we have inAustralia.
Proud of our flag. Cheered by a nativity scene. Grateful for thewealth found in our soil. Thankful that we are equal before the law.
Men and women who are determined to build up our nation with thecourage of their convictions.
But there are others who float about, endlessly hustling.
They don’t build, they tear down.
They conceal themselves with the crisp white shirts and deepblue suits of high office.
There is a bitterness beneath. They nurse a hard grievanceagainst the good things generations of Australians have gifted us.
They believe everything we’ve been given is everything that’swrong.
Far from being grateful, they want our flag to disappear. Theyremove hints of Christmas from public life. They regard coal, gas and uraniumas evil. They believe some races are more equal than others. That you’re guiltyuntil you can prove your innocence.
Imo, a perfect description of what wrong with leftist politics under the flailing Albanese Whitlam-like government !
