I got this off a friend who wrote a letter to the comany recently.
Presently they are producing around 1.2 TJ/day of sales gas with approx 2000 litres of condensate from the Katnook facility. they are producing from Katnook #2 only and so have a lot of reserve capacity (Haselgrove 2, Haselgrove S 1, Redman etc). they are planning on maintaining production at 2 TJ/day (2.2 million cubic feet) for the foreseeable future. they are also planning on running surfactant tubes downhole in 3 wells in an attempt to increase production rates – Santos has used the technique very successfully in recent times. As well, they are putting engineering input in to the fields with a view to extend production life and expect 3 years to be a reasonable projection.
Later in the year, they intend tieing in the Limestone Ridge 1 and Jacaranda Ridge 2 wells. The cost will be +/- AUD 3.5M but the production rate will be increased to +/- 6.5TJ/day with a substantial increase in condensate production. Gross revenues would then exceed AUD 30k/day
