Hi all. I am taking my voting rights seriously and I want to get it right. Whichever way I vote won't make any significant difference to my life. For some reason though, it feels more important to me to get it right this year than it has before. I want to reward people for their good work and achievements, but at the same time I have concerns. I will cast my votes with more conviction if I can hear others' views, reflect on them, and hopefully be persuaded. Of course we can do that here, but the truth is I don't say everything I'm thinking here. I hold back to a degree.

So, to get to the point of the matter, if any of you live near enough to Newport, Victoria (or city centre) and would also appreciate some healthy discussion/debate I propose a small get together before the AGM - a couple of drinks or a meal. I already have a short list of discussion points I'd like to cover! Happy to host at our place if it's a very small group.
