On.10.2005 Icon announced ''Icon Energy Limited in the United States has received a claim for environmental damage to land covered by certain oil leases in onshore Louisiana. The leases affected are the Wilberts Mineral Lease and the Myrtle Grove Lease. The Victory Financial Lease is NOT affected by this claim."

"Icon Energy's Board of Directors is confident in the knowledge that the Company and its partners have conducted operations at Bayou Choctaw in accordance with the Laws of Louisiana and maintained the property in accordance with high industry standards.
