    Mrs P

The CHTD must be proven to a commercial level before any revenue generating project happens, but the long and short of it for mine is that:

    a) BM will be an export CHTD BCE project and

    b) LV will be a CHTD BCE DICE "clean as gas" electricity generation project and

    c) LV could also be a potential BCE CHTD export project via pipeline to Hastings.

The "doubters" will make you believe that BM coal should stay in the ground, that LV can be covered off by Ignite/Coldry (although no public reference exists), that Exergen are not shortlisted for ALDP, that Exergen's big backers should be throwing pocket money at Exergen and CHTD, that Exergen will dump BM once they get LV S7 and so on and so on.

These are all fabricated unsubstantiated speculations.

For instance, do you think that if the BM area actually had a power plant that could provide waste heat for a Coldry plant to operate that Coldry supporters would be saying that BM BC is crap and should stay in the ground?

Do you believe that Exergen with all the references from media outlets, Quit Coal attention, meetings with relevant Government officials, Dr Brockway/CSIRO/DICE/FoA/etc. links and articles are not involved/shortlisted for ALDP funding?

Do you believe that Exergen's backers such as TATA, Thiess, Sedgman, Itochu, The Elf, etc. that have already put in $45 mill to date proving up the CHTD tech will then not provide further funding once Government has unleashed the BCP, ALDP and/or S7 coal allocations, confirmed demo site, etc?

Do you believe that areas like Geelong and BM with unemployment over 10% and major manufacturing Co's shutting up shop and/or downsizing would turn their backs on a potential major exporting project with many hundreds of jobs created?

Do you believe that a State Government strapped for cash with no revenue generating major minerals export would look at $1.4 billion NPV BM project, jobs creation, current infrastructure, major offtake buyer, a cleaner form of energy, etc. (and all those royalties) and say "no" because of a few out of town activists?

Of course, this is exactly what the doubters want you to think when all rational reasoning tells you otherwise.

    Cheers K
