Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited (TEL) today proposed a capital return of NZ$1.1 billion to shareholders following the sale of its Yellow Pages Group (“YPG”). The New Zealand heavyweight said it had received the NZ$2.161 billion ($1.933 billion) from the sale late last month and planned to hand back some of this return to shareholders.
