Gerry,
There are currently 7 companies bidding for the Hep A deal from different continents. SLT will either do multiple deals for different regions or 1 international exclusive deal, depending on the companies and their reach into the various market segments.
The deal can take months, as we've seen from Hep E, but it will happen and it is far bigger than Hep E. Over 10 times bigger. Announcements indicate that Hep A deal expected to be concluded by end of 2004. Management at Select are being cautious this time around and I reckon it will happen sooner.
When it does happen though, current price level will be history. But .. it may still be months away, so meanwhile you can see some nice accumulating under 50c. The buyers seem to be hiding themselves rather than showing their bids, but snapping up anything under 50c. Eventually the sellers trading will wear thin and the price will creep up.
