It would be nothing more than guess work gidiyup. On the face of it given their desire to take shares out of the market and claim to have money to burn to achieve this a cap raising does look unlikely. But, things change all the time and who knows what the sr has brought up since the buy back was announced and poo was 140$ a barrel. Raising funds to lower debt would be stupid given the current sp unless they want to issue another 200mil shares. Who knows, they may have a target in mind themselves. Once again all guess work, but the performance today was sickening to say the least given the goings on around the market and sector, and certainly looks something is afoot. I'm a bit sick of the old "distressed seller" theories but think we will see soon enough what's happening.
