PB and Linc should be able to maintain current structure with oil assets delivering and Adani coming on-line, if* Umiat pays off then that could internally fund a big UCG project. But to really take the world by storm rapidly with UCG he will need some massive investment and political approvals for projects if he wants to launch the rocket inside the next 5 years.
Linc are on the cusp in QLD and Wyoming too - big$ will be needed for the commercial scale operations. Unconventional gas is all the rage for the worlds energy companies and no doubt Abramovich sees opportunity here.
With Evraz coal tenements around the globe I'm sure there are numerous stranded coal resources just waiting for UCG to finally make them useful and political approval for the project will probably have less red tape and political opoosition in russia than in QLD. If Abramovich has Putin's ear political approval could be rapid.
