a long thread, and too many posts to read - but watso did read one or two posts.
one way, or the other, but the gun lobby have a point (previous posts by watso on the matter, have been supportive of gun control).
how about looking at the bigger picture - forget gun control - but how about countries and nuclear weapons.
oh - the policemen of the world, want to have nuclear weapons - but heaven forbid, if anybody else wants a nuclear bomb. the funny thing is, that watso is anti muslim - but supports the idea, that iran, might want to have a nuclear bomb - they would be mad not to have one... after all, they are surrounded by countries, who have nuclear weapons
england is a non power these days - but they have nuclear weapons. if it is good enough for england to have nuclear weapons, then it is good enough for iran.... after all, it is all about defense... look at what happened to libya, after they stopped chasing the nuclear dream!!!!!
governments are obviously scared that many people might have guns - because guns can be turned around are dangerous. one thing for sure, is that totalitarian governments are not too keen on anybody else having any weapons - apart for slingshots, and spears.
complex issues.. watso is happy, that he lives in a country, where pollies accept the voting box - but that could change, any time
