DBK - think you have displayed maturity and you will do well in the future. Good to know when to pull your head in and live to fight another day.
When I first started trading futures in the early 80's I quickly learned how to go short coz that was the only way to make money. After a couple of years of that it was hard to adjust to prices going north - think this is normal.
Now for the past 6 months I have often thought I should put some $ into an acct to trade the shortside - have a bit each way ...Got to have been a good idea but did I do it? No - and I don't know why I didn't do it....We all have our frailities..
I suggest you consider T4P's advice coz he's been doing this a lot longer than you.
