Welcome to HC. Mate this site can be a great asset once you sort through the bull. Try to use site to direct you to new stocks but always rely on your own research and judgement. Dont just jump on because everyone else is because by then its probably too late. In regards to day trading, because of the continuos fluctuations in the market , trying to ride it is like taking a dinghy out in the ocean with gale force winds.If you find yourself becoming emotionally attached to the market ie. market goes up you feel great, stock goes down you feel like crap, then you need to probably try a different strategy to avoid making emotionally driven decisions. Thats when you will make disastrous decisions. I have found that actually investing in good companies that i have belief in tends to bring greater returns. And be happy with what you did make not what could have been, because hindsight will drive you nuts.
